Task was to Build a mesh snowflake, no more than 2 meters in any dimension, and no more than 20LI ... rezz it at the Barn before noon SL time on christmas day.
It can be as traditional or as off the wall as you like, winner to receive 3 hours 1 on 1 blender instruction on a project of your choice.
Everyone was a winner in this competition, all entrants get 2 hours 1 on 1 time, winner gets 3... and the winner is Saori (large white snowflake pictured)!!
Blender Classes for Beginners is for people that want to learn Blender to make simple objects for upload into SL, they will be held on Fridays at 2pm slt.
Blender Classes for the Advanced (but anyone is still welcome) is for people who attended Graham's classes in the past or who already have a good understanding of how to use Blender UI and want to further their skills for uploading more complicated objects into SL, these will be held on Tuesdays at 2pm slt.

Since we started Graham's Blender classes 12 weeks ago we have come a long way and learnt many new skills including how to use Curves, Decimating, Mirroring, Subdivision, Bevelling, Boolean, UV Editing, Materials, Texturing, Loop cutting & Animation plus much more and have created our very own Curtains, Table Cloths, Arches, Fences, Wine Glasses, Chairs etc.
Just recently we had our very first Blender Competition! The brief was to create a Candlestick within an hour and 15 minutes!
It was a fun little competition using a lot our skills from all our classes and we came up with some wonderful creations.
Here was our brief:
Time - 1 hr 15 mins
Object - candlestick
Software - Blender
Best and most detailed candlestick wins!
And the Winners were:
